Easter Results and Life Updates

Well it's been one heck of a week!!!

Easter Sunday was (of course) cold and rainy, so as promised, here are pictures of my little girl white tighted legs! :)

(Dress: PacSun, Sweater: Forever21, Tights: Target, Heels: Steve Madden, Pearl Necklace: Premier Jewelry)

I was pretty happy with how it looked. Not too little girlish, and I was quite warm! :) I'm sure I shall try it again one of these days.

Just to recap a bit, my sister Courtney and her fiance Drew came down this week to do some MAJOR planning for the wedding. Long story short, their original venue fell through and this week they were busy making decisions on what would go where, who would do what, and how many of the great ideas Courtney has can we actually physically get done in less than a month.

My brother also had his first Prom on the same day as Courtney and Drew's wedding shower, which meant I was up at 8 am cleaning my house and doing Prom updo's and makeup for a bunch of sweet GORGEOUS girls ( pics soon!), then I rushed to the shower, did my MOH duties, rushed to see my brother all dressed up, and then went home to collapse till the next day.

THEN Sunday was Courtney's Personal Shower ( pics soon!) that my sweet aunt GiGi and I hosted. Of course Oklahoma had to live up to expectations and be rainy and cold on the day we planned a Garden Tea Party, but it worked out great! Again, pics soon!

SOOO: Things I've Learned from This Week:

1. Planning a wedding from long distance has GOT to be 10x harder than just planning a normal wedding!

2. Yes you CAN go on making escort cards even after your finger print has been burned off by the glue gun.

3. Zoe, Millie and Loki ( the puppies) are escape artists. Prisoners could learn some new inventive escape routes from these three crazy dogs.

4. I can do an updo and full makeup in less than 30 minutes. Heck ya!

5. I can get to my apartment, to my parents house, and back to my apartment on E. However, it then takes $51 to fill up my tank these days.

6. I have the most wonderful and caring boyfriend EVER! Sweet Greg did all my dirty laundry for me while I was hosting the Personal Shower. Believe me people, if I showed you the PILES (plural) of laundry I had to do, you would be giving Greg a Purple Heart.

7. Go through my mother's fabric bins, and you can find just about ANYTHING you could possibly need! I made an adorable peony-pin for my friend Heather with a scrap of tea-dyed crochet from a collar-type thing. Precious!

8. Sausage balls take 30 minutes to prep and 20 minutes to cook in my teeny tiny kitchen. But they were de-lish!

9. My sister, mother, and I all have the same color hair. Completely naturally-from-the-bottle of course.

10. And FINALLY, my sister is going to be the most beautiful bride ever! Her wedding will be GORGEOUS and no matter what font she decides to use for the guest book-sign, everyone will be in awe of her cute style!

LOVE,

Kaleigh
