2011 is almost over, 2012 is poised to begin. As I sit here contemplating what I should write, I can't help but look back over the year and mull over the moments that stand out the most.
My first time out of the country.
One of my dearest friends got married.
I turned 23.
We got this sweet guy.
...and into my house.
I wrote my first fashion post on this here bloggy
This year has been an interesting one, one that I think will stand out when I look back. It's been a fun one. 2010, I was ready to see go. 2011 will be a fond memory.
2012? Bring it on. I'm excited for new challenges, sweet memories to make, a few rough bumps to make this interesting, and a year full of laughs. I'm excited to see what kind of girl I'll be in 2012. Where will my life take me? What sort of moments lay ahead for me? New Years are exciting.
I always think of NY Resolutions. Few actually last to be accomplished, many are a product of sentimentality, but they're a fun start to the year. So here we go:
2012 New Year's Resolutions:
- WORK ON THIS BLOG:
I don't know exactly what I want it to do, but I want to step it up. I love writing. I've loved meeting all you wonderful people, I've loved having a place to create and store memories. I want to keep growing.
- GET ORGANIZED:
This is a resolution I've had for about 5 years now. Still hasn't happened.
- ENJOY
- I don't want to get so caught up in work and the every day hum drum that I don't enjoy what blessings I have been given. That's another reason why I have loved writing this blog; it gives me a permanent place to catalogue my every day, so I can look back and see just how blessed I have been. I don't want to forget those blessings.
That's it for now! I'm really looking forward to '12. Got a new journal all ready to go!
Lot's of Happy New Year love,

I'm surprised Arthur's famous "JOHHHNNNNEEE" comment didn't get on this list.
