Guest Post from Ruby Girl!

Hello lovelies! I've asked Lindsey from Ruby Girl to guest post for me today, so here she is! Lindsey is a fantastic gal that I stumbled across when I first start blogging. You should totally follow her, you won't be disappointed!!!

Thanks so much Lindsey!!!!!

Hey, hey darlings! So wonderful to be here with you this Monday morning. I've enjoyed getting to know Kaleigh through her fab blog. She has sweetly asked me to pop over today. I'm Lindsey, visiting from Ruby Girl. A few things you really should know about me before we go any further: My hubby & I almost cried when we found out last week that our local Blockbuster was closing down. My diet is stuck in the 90's; some of my go-to's are Eggo waffles, mac & cheese, and graham crackers with frosting. Annnd I'm a fashion blogger out of Minneapolis, stretching a surprisingly low clothing budget to fit my self-titled ladylike glam style.
It's mid-season. And it's quite possible that our initial enthrallment with tights, black/grey hues, and layering is potentially fading. As morning after morning we roll out of bed and stare down our closet, our wardrobe can lose its ka-pow-I'm-so-dang-chock-full-of-awesome-pieces-you-can-hardly-breathe effect.
Well, chums. Let me tell you how I ward off that post-honeymoon phase. I find one piece that excites me. Sometimes it's my most recent purchase. Sometimes it's an old fav top that has been out of circulation for so long that it's alluring me again. Then, I build the rest of the ensemble around that piece, starting with the biggest pieces on down to the smallest.

One of my recent winter looks:
{{ This is how a typical thought process goes }}
"Hello there, dusty rose colored skirt with soft pleats. You are making my eyes dilate."
"Burgundy sweater. You've got the cozy factor AND your hue would rock with your skirt friend's."
"Ok burgundy sweater and skirt, I look like frumpy grunge central."
"Let's add you, Mr. Leopard print belt. And youuu, Madame Floppy Hat"
Ta-DA!

Let's hope you can bat your eyes at your wardrobe once again ;-D
Come say hi!
