I'd like to share a sweet friend of mine with you guys today.
Meet Briauna
I met Briauna through my sweet cousins one summer (who met her and her sweet family while river rafting. Just one of those crazy meetings that somehow turns into a great friendship that you never expected!). Briauna has one of the most genuine and and selfless hearts of anyone you will ever meet. I don't think the girl has ever met a stranger; she's one of those girls that you might be jealous of since she's so dang gorgeous, but you just can't because she's so stinkin great.
Briauna is the founder and executive director of Two Cents Project

Founded in 2010, Two Cents Project seeks to "reach the homeless throughout the United States through developing partnerships in cities across the country with the purpose of helping to bring long-term solutions to the homeless and offer hope to the poorest group of people in our country."
It's a pretty simple, and earth shattering, concept. Reach out to those that need it most. But not just in your own town or city or even state, but make Two Cents a nation-wide movement. Open the eyes of our nation, so that we can work together to drastically improve our world.
Two Cents' name comes from the parable of the poor widow who had virtually nothing, yet gave everything she had; two cents. By her willingness to see change and to be obedient, God allowed her story to live forever, so that we could all learn from it.
"This is a progressive vision, the solutions are not objective, and will not be immediate, but we will start with what is in front of us, and work upwards from there, one day at a time. We have experienced first hand the truth that it does not take perfection to create ripples of change, and more importantly ripples of hope in hearts of hurting people.
Briauna puts it this way: “It’s never been about the numbers or social work, it’s about impacting souls and wrecking them with love, a love that has no strings attached, a love that accepts, a love that brings hope”.
Two Cents is currently working in their third city, Indianapolis, to "continue their mission of reaching the needs of the poor and destitute across the country, and to get youth involved in giving back."
