I'm Posting Twice in One Day...

Tanya from A Glass of Wine and a Good Book tagged me in this fun little questionnaire game-guy. I love these things!

The Questions:

1. What do you like to do for fun?

I'm pretty easy to please. I love watching movies, eating dinner with my family, or having a good ole Girl's Night! My perfect day off would consist of a book and a bathing suit by the pool.

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you want to live?

I've given my full and complete answer on my FAQ page, but for right now, I honestly love living where I'm at! I'd love to travel more, but OK is a great place to come home to.

3. What made you decide to start a blog?

BAHAHA long story. I initially started my blog to document a former relationship of mine that...didn't work out lol. I took a break for a while, came back to do an online portfolio of my hair designs I was doing....took a break because that was boring....moved.....then one day I wore a dress under a skirt and I thought, "this might be fun to write a blog post about!" and here we are today.

4. If you could give new bloggers advice, what would it be?

Reach out to other bloggers! Half the fun of blogging is to meet so many cool people. Don't be afraid to comment or e-mail a fellow blogger. Every single comment or email I get totally makes my day. I love when people ask questions!

5. Who is the most influential person in your life?

My mother. She is the most creative person I know, and so selfless. She dreams BIG and constantly puts her faith in God.

6. What is one talent that you have always wanted to learn, but haven't yet?

I can't whistle!!! I used to be able to whistle through my front teeth (check out this post to see my chicklet teeth up close and personal. I could practically whistle Chopin with those suckers), but after I got braces I lost the ability. I've always wanted to be able to produce one of the ear piercing, glass shattering whistles!

7. What is the best life lesson you have ever learned?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. We don't know everything, can't know everything. Accept your faults and quirks and trust that God is in control and has a plan for your life. Each experience you have is a piece of the story. Revel in those pieces.

8. What would your dream life look like after retirement?

Like Iris Apfel's life. With a bit more Southern charm mixed in. Because I'm the 21st century version of Scarlett O'Hara. Ya'll. 

9. What message{s} do you hope others "hear" when they read your blog?

I LOVE my life. I'm kind of silly. I try to live my life in the most upbeat way possible. I'm not afraid to crack up at myself. Fashion makes me smile. Fixing my hair is my personal form of everyday art. My faith means a lot to me.

10. What are your favorite blog topics to read about? {ex: crafting, style, life, humorous, etc...}

FASHION, real life stories that I can either relate to or crack up at, a few tutorials to keep me thinking, and home tours. Lots and lots of home tours.

11. What is one thing that you could never live without?

Dr. Pepper.
