Outfits for when You Hate Life.

Let's just be honest, there are some days....usually about once a month...when a girl just DOESN'T want to get dressed. Everything feels fat, you don't have anything in your closet that isn't hideous, your life is horrible, and all you want is to stay home, eat some chocolate and watch some Rom Coms (romantic comedies for you abbreviation illiterates). To save your boyfriend, job, friends and any innocent bystanders you might pass by, I have put together a few pieces that are perfect for those "why-do-my-ovaries-hate-me" days. (I can just hear my mother now, O my word I can't BELEIVE you said that on your blog! Psh you should see the posts I DON'T publish!)

#1. Palazzo or Wide Leg Pants
Palazzo Pant

Palazzo pants have a chic cut, but are more comfortable than fitted dress pants. Dress them up with a crisp white oxford and add the jean jacket to make the outfit comfy. Fun prints in a scarf and wedges (always a better option than stillettos when you're not stable emotionally) and voila, you can now go out in public.

#2. Shirt Dresses
Shirt Dress

Shirt dresses are comfy and girly, a combo that is not always possible in a dress. Add a sweet pair of flats in mint, a girly belt and clutch, and no one would ever suspect you wanted to murder someone. The sugnlasses add an even more feminie twist.

 #3. Leggings
Leggings

If you have not embraced leggings yet  my friends, do so. You will never be more thankful. A loose, flowy top will have you reaching for that third scoop of icecream, while the blazer gives the outfit a defined line. A chunky scarf and wedge booties adds a fancy touch, while the black satchel is more than large enough to hold all of your emergency snacks.

#4 Maxi Skirts
maxi skirt

Maxi skirts are a lazy girls dream. They're uber feminine while also being comfy, and can easily hide the fact that you are sitting Indian style at work (totally don't ever do this...). J. Crew tees are THE BEST SHIRTS EVER, and the leather jacket and booties give the outfit a rocker vibe and contrast fantastically with the flowy skirt.. Add the scarf and leopard belt to break up the pastel colors, and the ray bans because your awesome.
#5 High Waist Jeans
High waist jeans

High waist jeans will help conceal any...bloatage you might be feeling. For any reason. Pick a pair that are flar at the bottom for a nice long line, and a wedge to give you that extra height needed to wear high waist jeans. Tuck the sheer top in messily, and leave the bow untied to give it a more relaxed look. Add the belt and fedora for some fun accessories, and the arm candy so that everyone will know when your walking down the hall. Because you're just that awesome.

Things to avoid at all costs:

- skinny jeans: that's just torture my friends.
- bodycon dresses: actually just avoid these always.Nothing says uncomfortable like a dress molded to your bum.
- drop waist skirts: unless you just REALLY want to look like a bag of potatoes.
-stretchy dress pants: they're just ugly and super uncomfortable. Why wear something you KNOW will make you want to start a bonfire of stretchy pants after wearing them for an hour?
-your boyfriend's sweats: Leave them by the front door and put them on as soon as you come home. You'll appreciate them more.
