Forever 21 headband,Urban Outfitters Sunnies Necklace c/o 7th & West (giveaway coming soon!), High/Low dress stolen borrowed from my sister, Lucky Belt, Target sandals, Paul's Boutique bag (gift from Mr. Darcy)
WHEW! We had quite the exciting night last night in Oklahoma! They don't call us Tornado Alley for nothin folks.
Luckily no one was hurt that I know of. My tool shed in the back yard is smashed to smithereens (check out my Instagram for a pic), but ya right, like I had any tools to put in there anyways. And my electricity is still out as of this morning, so I went to work looking like a wet dog. But really, I think I'll take my wet hair and demolished tool shed over the other scarier options.
By the way, I went running yesterday ( I know. It was traumatizing.) with Mr. Darcy, and I now feel like my hips are the hips of an 80 year old women. Can anyone explain to me why my hips hurt so bad? When I asked my doctor she said, "huh, I've never heard of that!".
How reassuring.
Unfortunately it was still hailing (aw shucks) this morning so we couldn't go today. Hopefully my little hippies will appreciate their break and not punish me again today.
Happy Hump Day!

When I worked with a trainer one day, I went really hard (sprints etc) and a few hours later I felt like my hips were going to fall off. I asked my trainer the next day and he said it was just because I went to hard doing something my body wasn't used to....Hope that helps!!
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad things are ok for you in OK. I almost moved to KS but my BF got a different job offer. I was nervous about tornadoes!
Yikes, I am so glad only the shed had damage and you guys are okay! Hope your electricity gets restored soon.
ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of your outfit! I love summer because you can just throw on a dress, a few accessories, and go :)

My hips hurt after I run sometimes(and occasionally during a run), but I'm a few years older than you. :) Where are you running? If your streets are concrete, that could be it. It's the hardest surface on your body.
