Repurposed Yarn Wrapped Bottles

Got a quick { and redonkulously easy} DIY project for you today!

You'll need:
Bottles of varying sizes, shapes and colors (mine is a wine bottle, coke bottle, and virgin sangria bottle) Remember to peel the labels off!
yarn, jute, or any other sort of skinny textured fabric.
Glue gun

Dab a small line of glue onto the bottle and begin wrapping, adding another line of glue every so often. Try mixing fabrics to make stripes or leave as one solid texture. Add knots periodically. Wrap the whole bottle, or just the bottom or top! You could even weave in a few charms. I'm looking for a cute "K" to add to mine!

And voila! Repurposed bottles! Add some sweet flowers or straws, or just leave them as is. Mine are currently sitting on my "bills" desk. Hopefully they will encourage me to sit at that desk more often. Probably not.

  1. Man, I wanna do this! But I'm waiting for all my stuff to get to Toronto from Connecticut. It's been over two weeks. My glue gun is in there!
