An Apology to my Jacket

Let's talk about my jacket.

Probably about 5 years ago, I took this jean jacket out of my closet and put it in the give away pile. Somehow, it kept ending back up in my closet, and I'd find it when I went to purge my clothes of all the bad shopping choices I had made that year. 

I finally left it at home last year when I moved out and told my mom that anything left in the closet was giveaway.

What did I find when I moved back home?

The jean jacket. 

Suddenly, it wasn't a cast off shopping purchase from 5 years ago, but an old and valued friend. I was overjoyed to find it hanging in my closet, just as loyal as ever. 

So I'm sorry, dear Jacket, that I haven't always valued your durability and versatility as well as I should.Believe me when I say that we are turning over a new leaf in our relationship.

And thanks Gadzooks, now turned Forever 21, for making one single item that can actually hold up for 5+ years. Why can't all of your clothing be like Jacket here?
