White Tights

So I was browsing through the Internet World, and I came across Oscar de la Renta's 2012 Bridal Collection. First off, it amazes me that while brides are looking at the 2011 line, designers are already showcasing their 2012 designs! That is planning my friends.

Secondly, I noticed that all the models were wearing white shimmer tights:

I've seen this look becoming more and more frequent, but it's been mainly a Winter trend. I'm not sure how I feel about it for Spring, especially in Oklahoma, when Spring is almost obsolete and we go from blizzards to tornadoes to 105 degrees.

But my main concern is that I will look like I do in this picture:

I mean I've already got the bows goin on, just bust me out that plaid fabric and I'll be good to go!

Notice that my older sister wouldn't let me hold the rabbit, how completely typical of older sisters?

But I will say this, I love the shimmer to those tights :) I'm a glitter gal, and wherever I can add some glitz I will. Plus, it's kind of an ingenious way to cover up the lovely Snow White legs we all get in the winter time.

And did you notice her gloves? Precious! I'm a little leery of the white tights, but the gloves; bring it on.

I'm thinking I might just brave my fears and try this out for Easter once again! Maybe like this girl did:

I kind of love the lace look, and that dress is super cute with the black flowers!!! hmm......
