I wash my hair, on average, about 2 times a week and I am frequently asked how in the WORLD I can get away with it. Welp here are the answers friends!
Kaleigh's Solution to Greasy Locks:
-You HAVE to invest in three items:
1. A boar or bristle brush
2. A GOOD dry shampoo
3. A shampoo that actually works
Here's why:
-Boar or bristle brushes will brush dirt and excess product from your hair with out damaging the strand. The brush also acts as a scalp massage, which inhances blood flow, a vital step to a healthy scalp, which in turn means healthy hair
-Dry shampoo soaks up excess moisture, delaying the hateful and dreaded task of washing your hair. It also helps add volume to your hair, and as we good Southern women all know, "The higher the hair, the closer to heaven."(Two faves: Bumble and Bumble (it's brown! No more accidental gray spots!) and Big Sexy Hair ( duh. obsessed) Dry Shampoo (Volumizing! HEAVEN SENT)
-Buy a shampoo that advertises "deep clean" or "clarifying". These shampoos are geared towards excess grease and product build up, which means less washes for you, more money for shopping!

Now then, the Laws of Hair:
1. Thou shall NOT wash thy hair and then wear it up.
- it defeats the purpose of washing your hair. The first 1-2 days are down hair days, 3-4 are up. It's a scientific law guys. What you gunk up will only get gunkier.
2. Refrain from the touching of the hair.
- If you're constantly running your hands through your luscious locks then the oil from your hands will be transferred to your hair.
3. Embrace the accessory
- bobby pins, head bands, scarves, clips, hats and paper bags (jk) are all your friends, especially on days 3-4
4. Nature is thy friend
- sorry love cup, but if you have curly hair, wear it curly! Your hair is dying to be your friend, if you will just accept it as it is! Buy some good products and spoil your hair. Conditioners, tea tree oil, smoothers and gels all will help you and your hair have a cohesive, healthy relationship that doesn't involve tears or nightly washing rituals.
Lot's of hairy love,
Lot's of hairy love,

So cute. I will definitely be investing in brown dry shampoo.. Mine is white and my hair is almost black... not a good mix. Also, I say the curlier the better! :)
