YAY! I'm so excited to have sweet Mr. Darcy on here today! Personally, I think he has one of the best guy styles around. Ya'll should know this, since I'm constantly stealing his cardigans and button downs from his laundry basket. So with out further ado, here is.....
(#1-Zumiez Beanie, Topman Leather Jacket, Express Scarf, Urban Outfitters skinny Chinos, Diesel Watch. #2- Ray Ban Sunnies, River Island Scarf, Topman Union Jack Tee, T-shirt Cardigan-gift, H&M plims)
Hey guys!!! The other day Kaleigh mentioned to me that some blogs were having their other half write on here, so I thought, "Hey why don't I have a go at that?" I now realise how hard it is to start one of these things. (I know right?! O hi, it's me, I might be butting in every so often :)) So here goes...
I am going to talk about accessories for guys. What would keep you warm, look good with your outfit and not make you look gay.
First on my list is shoes. When people look at a guys style, the first thing they look at are his shoes. If your shoes don't go it will ruin your whole outfit. (this is so true. My sister didn't date a guy because he had ugly shoes on when he asked lol)

All these shoes will go with your jeans. I prefer to wear skinny'ish or slim jeans as I have skinny legs (love hims legs :)) but go with whichever is comfortable for you. Recently I have been wearing my hi-tops with my chinos, which was a new thing for me and I really liked how it looked.
Next on my list is coats and jackets

Coats are a great way to show off your style. I love love love my leather jacket, with a scarf.
(O hey, me too!) I think I would wear this every day if I could. Again all the items listed above can be worn with jeans, chinos (click here for a picture of chinos, in case you don't speak British :)) or even dress pants. When I wear my cardigans I either wear a plain tee underneath and button it, or wear a funky designed tee underneath and leave the cardigan open. (Like the middle picture at the top!)
Thirdly... Hats!

Last but not least I have scarves.

Scarves are the No.1 thing guys are afraid to wear. However, a scarf is the difference between boring t-shirt and jeans, and a quirky, stylish outfit. Kaleigh loves it when I wear a scarf with my outfit (I really do!). In fact i am pretty sure it was the 'fall in love' moment for Kaleigh when I wore my checkered scarf (like the one above (click here for a picture!)) with my geek outfit to her Halloween party (bahaha! Ya that might have had something to do with it lol)
Thanks for having me!!! (love you!!!!!)
Greg
Isn't he great? :)

He is so stinkin' cute! I love his scarfs and cardigans too! That is why he is the only guy I would let pick out a cardigan for Johnny! He has great style, just like his girl :)
ReplyDeletelove it!!! way to go Greg! you two are just the cutest! :)
ReplyDeletehow cute. Is it intimidating having a guy who has taste though? i would be a bit self-conscience about my outfits if my guy had a really good eye... not that I do a bad job ;). ha ha.. Just wondering. I often think about these things when I think about ever being in a relationship with a guy...
