Good mornin!
Below is the fishtail braid tutorial I promised! I wear this style all.the.time (examples 1, 2, and 3).
Things to keep in mind:
- I have very short layers, which is why I'm able to get a long braid with such short pieces on top to pull out. It's like a mullet but not
- I do this on Day2 or dirtier hair. It just works better.
- If it's not big enough for you, tease the top section more once it's braided.
If you have any questions let me know!
TIPS:
-Don't skip the teasing or dry shampoo. They both help keep the braid together throughout the day!
-If your layers aren't as short as mine, curl the top layer of hair before your braid. Once you've braided, gently pull the top section loose, but not all the way out of the braid. You'll still get the messy effect.
Have fun!
BTW: Do you like the cute font I used? It's called Indy Pimp and I found it at Shabby Loves Chic!
